When long-awaited spring has finally sprung, greet visitors with charming pansies, brightly colored tulips, hyacinths and daffodils, or request any of your favorite spring bloomers. These beauties will brighten your doorstep until summer comes around.
Summer heat can really take a toll on your porch pots, so the Heath Outdoor Annuals Team chooses heat-tolerant, sun-loving plants like petunias, lantana, hibiscus, geraniums and verbena for sunny spots, and shade-loving options such as begonias, coleus and impatiens for shadier areas with just the right mix of thrillers, fillers and spillers for maximum impact.
After a long, hot summer, we always delight in welcoming muted, cozy, rustic fall colors For fall porch pots, we choose cool-weather tolerant plants like mums, pansies, ornamental cabbage and kale, and asters for vibrant, long-lasting color, adding height with ornamental grasses and texture with fillers like coral bells, ivy, ornamental peppers and pine cones.
As the cold weather approaches, the Heath Outdoor Annuals Team brings the holiday spirit right to your front door, using cold-hardy plants like ornamental kale and evergreen conifers for color and structure, and adding evergreen branches such as juniper, fir, and pine for texture and height. Then, we add pops of festive color with winterberry holly or red-twig dogwood branches. We can even add Christmas lights!
