For the seventh year in a row, the Heath Outdoor team was PROUD to support Indy Pride and the Pride Parade. While our team always has a great time creating and celebrating, we’re also mindful of what the parade really stands for–diversity, equity and inclusion. And our company embodies those values every day. The Heath Outdoor family has grown this year, so we were also joined by the Spotts Garden Service team!
This year, Pride felt more essential than ever before. It was more than just a celebration. It was a reaffirmation. A refusal to back down. More than ever, it was about standing up and having each other’s backs. That’s why our float theme this year was “RISE UP.”
Our design team built an urban jungle that stretched as tall as the parade would allow, filled with superheroes standing ready to help protect the rights of all the citizens of our wonderful city. And, of course, as is our tradition, there was a water feature. We just can’t help ourselves.
Heath Outdoor stands firmly behind our LGBTQ+ community. We’re proud members of the Indy Rainbow Chamber. We believe in decency, kindness and basic human rights for all. We’re not backing down. Happy Pride, Indianapolis.
